DESCRIPTION:Lunch with Dr. David Docusen\nfrom The Neighborliness Center\nWednesday, January 25th @ 12pm\nFirst Presbyterian Church\nFaith leaders, join us for a lunch with Dr. David Docusen from The Neighborliness Center at First Presbyterian Church, 554 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN, on Wednesday, January 25th at 12:00pm. \nDr. David Docusen has spent the past twenty years investing into communities as a pastor, church planter, author, speaker, professor and advocate.\nThe Docusen family has started seven nonprofit organizations in the last fifteen years. The Neighborliness Center is the home for their work creating strategic plans for churches, businesses, and organizations to cross dividing lines and see the kingdom of God established in cities around the world.\nThe local expression of their ministry is deeply rooted on North Patterson Avenue in Winston Salem, NC. The Neighborliness Center is in the process of building a community center that will give equitable access to education, employment, healthcare, and housing for neighbors in the surrounding community.\nDavid studied the response of the body of Christ to generational poverty in his doctoral program. His findings resulted in the formation of Freedom Communities – an organization in Charlotte, NC which gives equitable access to education, employment, healthcare, and housing.\nHis book, Neighborliness, was featured on Good Morning America and hit #1 in four separate categories on Amazon. The book and related resources have been used around the world as practical tools to cross dividing lines.\nDavid serves on the board of directors for three organizations: Relevant Magazine, Freedom Communities, and Winston Salem Christian School.\nDavid & Dara have four teenage children (Max, Mary, Jack, and Ben) and they are huge supporters of Charlotte FC and the Carolina Panthers.\n
